No she shouldn't persue it. Not if she doesn't know what attempted rape actually is. She destroyed someone's reputation over nonsense. Could you imagine what it would be like to go through being labeled a rapist all because an impressionable student who was easily manipulated by her "group," when he did nothing at all in that manner. Once your accused of something like that, that's it. There's no getting your reputation back, even if you're cleared of the charges. He probably would have never been able to teach again and his marriage was most likely destroyed. On top of that, when someone makes ridiculous false accusations like she did, that makes it even more difficult for people who really have been sexually assualted or raped to be believed. Her claim was ridiculous and detremental. I wanted to strangle her for what she had done to this person's life, and I'm a woman.
