I didn't finish watching it! Can somebody tell me the ending?
I stopped when Sully was about to go to jail!

The ending goes like this: The Bandit and Snowman get the beer to the Burdets on time with Buford right on their tale. They then make another bet about getting them some clam chowder. Buford takes off in high speed pursuit with Jr. running behind yelling "Who's gonna hold your hat?"

Cue music and credits.

It's a character study, ced69. The ending is not the point.

Nobody who isn't a fool would not watch this in its entirety. In my not so humble opinion, its the best thing Paul Newman ever did and one helluva of a farewell.

the spoiler is that the last scene is just Paul Newman and Jessica Tandy. Watch it. Two actors who don't need scenery chewing to act.
