Watched it for the 2nd time.

And WOW, I think I'm in love with that movie. The first time I watched was because of Paul Newman, and I loved his performance but that was it, I thought the movie itself was average. My second viewing changed my opinion completly. Now it just became one of my favorites of all time. I don't know why there's something very cozy and comfy about the setting and everyday characters. Everey now and then I miss them and wanna hear about them again and so I'll pop the disc back into my dvd player. :)

....A previous post here dealt with similar films with this quality, and someone mentioned Hanson's "Wonder Boys", which I'm also in total agreement about.

I never watched it :) I'll check it out. Thanks for the recommendation :)

....It just occured to me that Michael Douglas also limps throughout ( most ) of the film. And Philip Bosco ( the judge ) also makes a brief appearance.
