MASSIVE QUESTION (spoilers)

Ok guys this movie is awsome for starters but i do have a question. Lets just clarify that i dont like to rake on good movies but i need an explanation. O.K So, back at the main prison they constantly scan the island for heat signatures so it doesnt get detected by anybody. When Ray Liotta (robbins) fires his rocket it creates a massive heat signature and they say that someone would definately pick it up. But what about all the rockets that the gunships fire when they destroy the escape raft and the onshore camp. They would have made a big heat signature too so i leave this question to u guys.

Hmmm. Good point i'm sure there can be some exuse for this (special rockets etc) but i'm prity sure it is a mistake.

It has been awhile since I have seen this movie, so I could be wrong, but I do not think it was the rocket that was supposed to have caused the massive heat Signiture, but the Village exploding (I thought they had laced it with something to make it explode)Of course this is from memory, but will have to try and get this movie again, because you just reminded how fun it was

Ow yeah they put fuel into the moat so the rockets small explosion would take put the whole village.

If I remember correctly, Robbins (Liotta) stole it from Merrick and in turn, used it to blow the place up after it was fixed.
