Its been a few years since I have seen the movie, maybe im just going mad but....are there any females in this movie? I cant remember seeing any.
Just curious, as it must be one of the very few, if not the only...mainstream, big budget movie to contain no female actors at all.

sex sells. No every movie has a love interest, then again Hollywood has always been shallow, use women to get us guy horny. I want to watch a movie without thinking of sex. Just watched Mr and Mrs Smith. No Escape is on in 10 minutes.

It could have been plausible for there to be women on the island, the island being a dumping ground for those the boss didn't want to deal with. However I can imagine the males and females still separated in the official prisons.
