What's with the random scenes!?

I've just watched this movie in Space (argentinian channel airing crappy movies, and dubbed!)
And I've got freaked out with all those random scenes, dude there are lots of things that makes you say "what in the blue *beep* is this!"
The most annoying scene i've seen is right in the prom, eric and julie are dancing or talking and then.. CUT! again an stupid bowling take! (the one that appears a guy with a *beep* in his eyes)

So freaking annoying movie, but... worth while seeing it just to see Hilary (pretty damn hot)

Yeah, this movie suffers from a pretty bad script. A prime example is when Ned and two other Alpha Elite bungie jump out of no where during the dance and one of them gets injured in the process. If they wanted to show how Duggan and the Alpha Elite are irrational in their behaviors, they could have executed it in a much more coherent way. Instead of being concerned with the injured member, the audience is too busy scratching their head thinking, "Why the *beep* are these a-holes bungie jumping in the middle of a dance in the first place?"
