Unless they were planning on KILLING him and Hillary Swank right after I don't know how they were expecting to get away with blowing up a damn car without some sort of legal ramifications.

They were intending to kill him... then Miyagi shows up and saves him, then Ned is told to Kill Julie in the fight, but he looses... Bit of *beep* film really... oh well.
share I have no idea! I literally watched this movie a few hours ago, but I can't remember what their intentions were. Were they trying to kill that McGowen guy? If so, I suppose they could have made it look like he died in an accidental explosion, but I highly doubt that plan would follow through. If they were just trying to hurt McGowen and teach him a lesson, then I still don't have a clue. I mean, if they honestly thought that McGowen would just walk away and not tell anyone that his car was blown up illegally (arson), and that he was brutally assaulted by 6+ men, then I don't know even know what to think.
