Is it just me...?
I bought the DVD of this movie 3 times. Each time the DVD wouldn't play. Is it my bad luck or is something seriously wrong with the DVDs?

I'm sorry, I was joking about the movie being "lame", that's just that my taste in movies is most likely different from yours.
I actually don't know what the problem may be. I mean, what are the odds of that happening? 3 times! could it be your player?
that's what I thought but my dad wouldn't let me borrow his dvd player to test this theory and I have no social life and therefore don't go to friends houses *shrugs* I guess I'll just have to tape the damn thing the next time it comes on tv

Christ, just buy a new DVD player! They are very inexpensive nowadays.

To check if your player isn't working, just get another DVD (not Karate Kid) and insert it in the your player. If they don't work it's the player.
