WORST FILM EVER!

OMG!!! i watched all of the movies because i got the boxset as a gift. I have to say, that by far, this is the worst movie i've ever seen in my entire life!!! WHAT IN THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING!?!?! Ok first of all i'm am completely LIVID about the fact that Falkor sound like a *beep* idiot!!! What happened to his voice? Who the hell thought it would be cool to have a Dumb-sounding luck dragon? And the CHEESY LINES!! And of course at the begining, when the stepsister was talking about how uncool the brother was, you see in the background Bastian fall, and shes like "omg i have such an "un"cool stepbrother." Then of course there's the empress... i just don't get what they were thinking... she's the CHILDLIKE empress, not the nearly 20 empress, the CHILDLIKE empress IE SHE'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE A FRICKEN CHILD!!! And yeah, the tree and that stupid rock biter baby were annoying as hell. I can't believe Jack Black is in here too. I bet this is a memory that he would try to forget. This is one of those movies, where u say, i want those hours of my life back after you've watched it. In all seriousness, i'm going to throw this DVD away. Its not even worthy of becoming a coaster for my drinks, i'm going to burn this to ashes, and then throw them away! I will try to forget that i've ever saw this movie, and pretend that this was just a Duology (i don't know if that's the rite term). I rated this movie a one, and that was being gracious. I honestly wish i could have given it a negative 10, because it is GOD AWFUL! And what happened to the theme song? The Neverending Story theme song!! I have to admit i didn't really like the sequal (Neverending Story II) very much b/c i think they tried to make it more for kids, but this is just too much... Lastly i have to say that they completely messed up the book and the Auron. They looked a lot different in the third movie. The book looked like it was fairly new, and not like some old and mystic book. I'd rate this -10 out of +10, if i could, but for now i rate this as 1

I suspect the makers of this movie never saw the first one. In fact, I think this movie was made by a group of people on some pretty hardcore drugs who only heard about the original from someone who was on totally different drugs. Or maybe the filmmakers were being controlled by The Nasty, which would make sense in a sort of meta way...but no, I don't want to give them that much credit. I mean they even changed the AURYN! There's no consistency at all with the original.

I dont think this film is that bad. I managed to sit through revenge of the sith twice and I hate that movie so badly, I want lucas to burn. Im not saying this films was bad but definatly the lesser of the two evils.

I think the part of Bastian is cursed...notice it is played by a different person each time...weird.

THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!! TOTALLY TRAMPLES ALL OVER THE ORIGINAL NEVER ENDING STORY!

well, the original sucked a ss, so i don't notice much of a difference
