IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK...

seems possible.

spectre can

suck it.

So, automatically, Badlands is a loose remake of Bonnie & Clyde.

I don't see the story behind True Romance being similar to NBK but Tarantino did completely rip off Badlands soundtrack for True Romance.

We've met before, haven't we?

True Romance and Natural Born Killers was originally one giant script by Tarantino. The events in True Romance happen then Clarence writes a script which is the story for Natural Born Killers. NBK was partially inspired by Charles Starkweather and his girlfriend who went on a real killing spree on the run in the '50s. Badlands was also loosely based on that couple's killing spree. So yes they're both somewhat inspired by Badlands but more so the real life couple who were killers. I think the music in True Romance was a homage to Badlands not stolen.

reply

True Romance definitely, and this lightly.

Badlands is miles better than both though.

reply

I thought they were more inspired by "Breathless" (1960), but that was before I watched "Badlands."

EDIT: Maybe more inspired by the "Breathless" remake with Richard Gere. Tarantino calls the remake one of the coolest movies ever.
