At the point when Joyce lets the killer into her apartment he is getting her a drug fix but earlier she mentioned that her friend invited the killer back to her apartment and she would recognize him. If so why did she she not recognize him and why did she let him in?

At this point I also think the movie revealed the killer a little too early though only by a few minutes - it could have kept us guessing for another few minutes until the scene in the morgue.

Awesome movie though.

I can see why how the scene could be interpreted that way, but I believe she didn't say she had seen the killer. She thought she was referring to two different customers, some weird guy with a dead girl fetish, and the psycho killer in the news. They were of course the same person, but she didn't know that. If you read the dialog closely this becomes apparent when she talks about it being too dangerous, and that she's careful, etc.

I agree on the timing of the revelation of the killer, though. They certainly could've held onto that one longer.
