So, from what I gather, these guys are Catholic, right?

Is there any particular reason for that? From what I understand, Catholics are a very small minority in Denmark. Was there some underlying reason for this decision?

I don't think they were necessarily Catholic. The blood/body of Christ thing is practiced in some Protestant churches.

Thanks for informing me. Ignorant old me thought the Eucharist was an exclusively Catholic thing.

No, The Danish Church (shown in the movie) is basicly protestant. There are catholics in Denmark but that's a minority of christians.

The slight giveaway that they're not Catholics is that Jens' girlfriend is a priest/training to be a priest.
