Awesome, but remake is on the way

This film is absoultely brilliant, so why the hell do they need to remake it? It's only 12 years old, and will be 13 be the time the new one is scheduled to be released. I mean why bother making it? Surely they could have just asked the director to make the film twice with different cast and a slightly different script, no doubt set it in America with Mischa Barton (who the hell is that person? I mean seriously, who is she?!?!) and Orlando Bloom.

I don't doubt for a second that the remake will be a load of total bollocks

Oh god! How sad it was to search this movie on imdb and get a '1994' and a '2007' result :(

How cool it could be if no one watched this totally needless remake.

I sincerely hope that the remake will help promote the original movie so that more people discover its brilliance.

It is extremely under-rated. So, maybe a remake is good. Because it will only create promotion of the original.

Emos are morons

No more remakes!! Leave the movies alone. It's sad that HollyWood has ran out of ideas and only has the option to do remakes. The last straw for me was finding out that a remake of Black Christmas is coming out.

If HollyWood needs new ideas they should check out some of the posts on this site. There are plenty of creative people here with original ideas.
