Sexual tension?

i have yet to see the entire film - it's always on IFC at 6:45 and ends at 9:00 -- but school starts at 8:00 so I wind up missing an entire hour of the film. very upsetting.

but between Mrs. Parker and Mr. Benchley there was a bit of sexual tension in the air, was there not?
am i the only one who sensed it?

I see you posted this in August so you may already have saw the film by now. It was on IFC this morning. You can check the schedule on their website. It is also on DVD, available at Amazon.com for 13.99.

Yes I think there was supposed to be a sexual tension between Dorothy Parker and Robert Benchley that was never consummated. It was expressed in a line by one character(If I remember correctly): "In their heads they *beep* like bunnies."

What is IFC?

The Independent Film Channel

"They love me....the men love me, the women love me...... ME, MAHOGANY!"

IFC is the best, I saw it there, but haven't seen it lately. They usually play movies every 2 months or so.

Vic: Actually we met @ a fairy gathering
Emmett: What the Tony Awards?

I wish they would put Wonderland on again... I haven't seen that in a while

I thought they were really in love w/ each other, but didn't act on it because they were both married.

It is no secret there was sexual tension. They knew it, and everyone around them knew it. They were very attracted to each other, and loved each other. Both were married, and at the time, it wasn't thought to do anything beyond pine for each other. They were best friends and soul mates, but alas it was never meant to be anything else. Maybe her life would have been a little happier if they could have been together.
