In my opinion up there would have to be the one where Asao lights the flare inside the armored truck and sets the money on fire. It was really a lame, contrived slapstick setup, and i felt just really embarrased watching that kitano actually went with it. i mean, that asao should have to light the flare to show that there's a bomb in the car?

I thought it was hilarious. I think the point was to show how much of an idiot he was. He got halfway down the road before it even occurred to him that the flare was ignited and he was in trouble.

i read somewhere that this skit was based off a true robbery that occured in japan where an armored truck was robbed with fake dynamite.
