Terrible Editing, Bad Storyboarding, or What?


Caught this on Netflix, and most of the movie exceeded my expectations. The climactic finale is nothing but a mash of random events. There's no scope to the carnage, continuity, I can't even tell if it's taking place over the course of several days or not.

For instance, that last RPG that fired seemingly teleported Lundrgren to the cave below. Also, the fried soldier that "shouldn't sneak up on people" wasn't seen from an effective reaction shot angle. And of course post-slowmo isn't as good as shooting at high speeds.

Maybe they didn't give the editor the right goods, but it comes across as unfinished.
