Watched for the 21st time, still hilarious

This movie is bladderbusting fun. Damon wayans is so much fun to watch, his delivery is impeccable. This was made on the back end of the great comedies of the 80s,where you could make fun of everything and everyone, without someone feel offended. It's awesomely political incorrect, and would never get greenlit today.
Too bad they dont make em like this anymore.

Like my title says, i just saw this for the 21st time today, and it still cracks me up.

Highly recommended.

On a side note, those who haven't watched the similar film, Bushwhacked, with Daniel Stern also from 1995,needs to watch that one also, no one can squeal like mr. Stern, he is awesome in that one

I agree. One of those movies I can just watch and re-watch.

Whores will have their trinkets.

They don't make good clean comedies anymore.

Everything now is about masturbation or trying to get laid or extreme cuss words.

Maybe I just haven't found it so I am open to an education.
But when was the last time there was a just ridiculously, stupid, clean comedy.

And don't get me wrong.
I don't mind modern day comedies.
I'm old enough to laugh/enjoy a swear words or inappropriate behavior comedy.

I just wonder where the gut laugh comedies went.

I just rewatched this in full and it is hilarious. I have seen it a bunch of times but it has been a while.Bushwhacked is hilarious also. Daniel Stern is great, Jon Polito was good in that also.

I loved bushwhacked when I was a kid. Same with this movie. The engine that could scene is worth the price of admission alone.

I watched that scene 3 times and the scene when he is daydreaming grilling with Tiger and Miss walburn. It has been a while since I have seen bushwhacked. I know the opening scene is hilarious. Just walking down the street(staying alive playing in the background) smoking a cig. Doesn't he steal a milk and throw it a baby stroller?

reply

I can't remember much from bushwhacked. I think the start he is robbing a mansion and burns it down.

reply

i've seen it 2 or 3 times and it is funny.

I loved this movie as a kid, literally watched it every time it was on TV. My brother used to do the "choo choo" part.

Haven't seen it in almost 20 years. Does it hold up as an adult? I don't want the good memories ruined.

I saw it in the theater when it first came out. I thought it was stupid but I loved the heck out of it.
Over the years, I've watched it a dozen or so times and I thought it was stupid every time.
I watched it a week ago and it was still stupid and I loved the heck out of it.
I'm watching it again right now, it's still stupid and I'm loving every minute.
It never stops being funny.
