PG from R Rating

I think the first one is an enjoyable and funny guy movie. Major League II is a lame and laughless PG version of the classic R Rated Major League. The writting was truly crappy and the new characters were lame. Going from R to PG really hurt the movie. The thing happened with the Police Academy series.
