What other former|recent figures of royalty,do you want a film made on?

If you greatly love the TMOKG film, what greatly admired, or greatly disliked former or current figure/s of royalty, or quasi roylaty (who don't have to be only British), do you want to see get a film adapted about them (or a TV miniseries made, if more time is required) and please elaborate on why you think it'd make for compelling viewing.

Good question. It seems as if all the "interesting" rulers/prime ministers/presidents/etc. have already been covered.

Perhaps a film on the Emperor Hirohito. I often would've liked to have taken a walk through his mind, especially considering the culture he lived in, as well as the times and events.

The madness in the Bowes-Lyon family (the Queen Mother was Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon before her marriage). Two of her nieces were insane and kept locked away for decades. Read this article.

The story of Juan Carlos I of Spain is very inspiring, particularly the way he put down a coup attempt on 23 Feb 1981. I believe at least one movie was made about that historical episode.

George II has untapped potential. The threat posed by "the Young Pretender;" his relationship with his German-born, German-speaking father; the hated Prince of Wales who fathered George III; in the background, the beginnings of the Age of Revolution and the Industrial Revolution; probably some other very interesting stuff.
