What was the name of the show that was very similar? It had a cyborg type of guy with a black and white helmet. I think it the helmet only had one eye lens that enhanced his vision, and one of the episodes had a bad guy with a similar prototype suit but it was all black. I was in the 1st grade when i saw that show, and i always got the two mixed up.

If I am right about the show you are referring to I saw very little of it, but it may have been "SuperForce" a ½ hr show where I believe the hero wore a super suit, late 80s or very early 90s.

He was paralyzed after being shot trying to foil a bank robbery, & light powered the suit that he designed & enabled him to walk and gave him enhanced strength.
