I just thought about this. What would you say if someone made a movie out of this series? Would you strike it down immediately because there isn't enough material to go by or....?
Please let me all know what you think. On top of that, if there was a movie, what should the plot be like, the costume and the actors?
I personally think this would be a good part for Denzel Washington.

Not Denzel Washington(over 50 and the role is not his style). Isaiah Washington would be a better choice. A big budget movie would probably not get greenlighted. I'd rather see another TV Mantis series or a quality direct to DVD film.
With all the BS rumors surrounding the Black Panther movie I don't think Hollywood is ready to make a black hero movie just yet. A reboot for the TV series minus the white washing and some better writing would be a great first step towards a movie.

I saw the movie when it first showed on TV, and I remember thinking that it was really pretentious and would not make a good TV series. I was very surprised a short while ago to discover that 22 full episodes were made! (I stumbled upon it as an unrelated search result on Amazon.com, so if you're still looking for it, it's on DVD, or you can stream it.)
