reply

Just watched for the first time, 10/10.

It has aged particularly well, no doubt. Gets better every time I watch it.

Easy 10/10

reply

Agreed. Is it really 23 years! Seems completely fresh and undated.

This film never fails to entertain 10/10 for me!

reply

Leon is a fantastic movie. Easily 10/10! I never tire of watching it.

reply

Agreed! I try to limit myself to one viewing per year, some years I actually make it. This is the only film where the story draws me in every time.

reply

10/10 from me, it's been in my favorite movies since it came out.

Imagine if Luc Besson returned to this kind of glory. This and La Femme Nikita are gold.

reply

I think Luc has allowed the business to slowly take precedence over his creativity. I think Spielberg has also fallen into the same trap. Both are among my favorite filmmakers, it would be great to see them focused on making films instead of running a business.

reply

I wonder if he used the title Lucy because it was just one letter off from Luc.

reply

Interesting observation. I actually enjoyed the first hour of that film, but unfortunately the last half hour fell apart really quickly.
