It's too bad...

...that C.M. Talkington hasn't made another film. There are directors who have made films 1000 times worse than Love and a .45 who get to keep making film after film. The movie's not a masterpiece but its certainly not bad and actually a pretty fun road movie. I asked Talkington a year or so ago if he was going to make another film and he said he was trying. I hope he gets one made.
