I absolutly loved the melody that K. Hepburn played on the piano and A. Bennig well, sort of sang. Then it appeared through the second half of the movie in the very touchy scenes and make me cry everytime I see it

You should buy the soundtrack of the movie coz' this melody is a lot on it ;)

i was wondering, does ray charles appear on the soundtrack?
becouse i accidently happen to tune into this movie and saw him singing on stage. then you are talking about the soundtrack, maybe you know if his song is there.

i'm sorry if,
i don't always say and do the right things,
like an ignorant fool i sometime go for the move without having to think,
how i sometime come across, is not what i've had in mind,
it's becouse of me and this unsophisticated personality of mine,
when its too late,
i realise how i was acting yesterday,
i'm sorry for the things i say, or don't say,
i know i don't have the most proper way of behave,
"treat others like you want to be treated", thats wisdom i've always heard,
and i know i don't deserve it, but i find myself still receving some's love, even though i might leave them hurt,
if i seem rude,
can't you please see it through,
my rough shell,
i haven't polished my ways well,
often i don't realise how i come across, don't be confused,
i don't mean to hurt you,
it's just my rough self,
i never learned how to behave well,
sometimes it may be hard to tell,
that i mean well.

The song that she and the children sing and sign is a Beatles song, called "I Will" My sister so loves this song that she she used it instead of the Wedding March as she walked down the aisle at her wedding last year!

reply

Wasn't it a beautiful flourish that she was teaching the children to sign? (Oh, my, it just occured to me that "sign" and "sing" are anagrams!) Wouldn't it be wonderful if that were standard practice in pre-schools?

A woman I adore once completely captivated her audience, myself included of course, by signing along with reading her poem. "Eagles Also Walk". I think that, knowing it was signed, simply writing that title can conjure up for you how the performance soared.

Just read this briandahl , and I think that's beautiful! Love that song so much it makes me choke up. Especially with the kids doing it.

One of the bad decisions on this film was to use vintage jazz/pop music on the soundtrack in the early scenes which made the film seem to Woody Allenish. I thought the Louis Armstrong comic number was particularly a poor choice for the scenes it accompanied. I liked it much better in the second half when instrumental scoring accompanied such scenes.
