Which sister do you prefer?

My question.

reply

Amy and Jo both because they have spirit and ambition...

Beth, while sweet, is rather lacking in personality, and Meg is just too perfect to be interesting

reply

Meg perfect? It was clear in the book and movie that she was vain and easily tempted by rich lifestyles like the Moffats', and she was a bit naive too. Beth was too perfect.

Jo because she has spirit.

reply

Jo. She's the only one who's neither perfect nor spoiled rotten.

Go against the grain. Don't have a signature.

reply

Jo because she has this really wild temper and this great imagination!
The second is Beth because she is such a lovely human being and seems to be a great sister.
Third is Meg because she seems calm and nice.
And i don't like Amy. I think she really is a bad human being. May she burn in hell! ^^

reply

Jo is my favorite because I feel that she and I have personalites alike. Jo is a writer and passionate reader, hates change but a part of her wants to go out explore, and she loves her sisters so much. That is me pretty much to a T. I'm an avid reader and I've been writing stories since I was a kid. I'm also really close to my sisters and would do just about anything for them.

My second favorite is Beth, then Meg, and then Amy.

Amy. She's spunky, she sets herself high standards and she's an inspiration to others. Plus, she's hilarious as a child.

I'm quite fond of Meg but she's so thick sometimes... I only really like her when she tells mean old Aunt March that she loves John Brooke and doesn't care for money. Why did they leave this bit out of the film? (Oh, I can't bear Meg in this film at all).

reply

Beth's sweetness and Jo's spirit. Meg was boring and Amy was a little witch.

reply

Jo.

I prefer Claire Danes in this version,Janet
Leigh in the 1949 version, and Jean Parker in the
1933 version. But Claire and Christian will al-
ways be my favorite and the reason this version
of Little Women will always be my favorite version.

I prefer Jo. I think she is such a great character, she has such spirit and enthusiasm.

I like Beth too, it's so sad when she dies.

Amy I'm not too crazy about, she's a bit irritating at times.

I don't have anything against Meg, I agree she seems a bit bland.

Beth is my favorite. That is more from the novel, however. She is so sweet, and she is funny in her own way. One of my favorite chapters in the novel is when old Mr. Lawrence gives her the piano. Very precious. Very heartbreaking when Beth died.

Jo is my second favorite. Very passionate and very flawed; a very interesting character. And the close relationship between Jo and Beth, two opposites, is very touching.

Amy and Meg are tied for third for me. I do like them both, but Amy can be a bit snobbish, but that can be funny too, sometimes. Meg isn't all that exciting dramatically, but she seems so kind and had such moral integrity that she is easy to admire.

Jo by far. She is HILARIOUS.

when I was younger and first saw this movie Amy, but now that I'm older I would obviously have to go with Jo (just like everyone else) she was so forward thinking for her time
