age computation

As suggested by Number One in the first pilot episode of Star Trek, age computation can sometimes be interesting.

After seeing Spy Kids on tv a few times, I finally realized that I remembered Alexa Vega portraying a girl about six years old in Little Giants (1994) and Carla Gugino portrayed a teenage girl named Chica in Troop Beverly Hills (1989) whose fictional age was about 16 I think. So Carla portrayed at least one character with a fictional birth date around 1972-1973 and Alexa portrayed at least one character with a fictional birth date around 1987-1988, and they portrayed mother and daughter in Spy Kids.

Actually Carla Gugino's birth date is said to be August 29, 1971 and Alexa Vega's birth date is said to be August 27, 1988, sixteen years, eleven months and 29 days later.

Sixteen-year-olds don't have babies?

There are potholes on the road less traveled....

But having kids at such a young age is usually considered something you wouldn't want to mention in a movie for kids.

Anyway, the movie depicted the mother as being an experienced and well trained spy at the top of her skills when she met the father, not a teenager.

You're assuming the fictional age of the characters is the same as the real age of the actors.

Can't stop the signal.
