does anyone wonder why johnson comes in as a relief pitcher if he's normally a starter?

That happens in baseball a lot in playoff games. He has actually done it in real life a few times, such as game 5 of the 1995 ALDS against the Yankees and again in 2001, game 7 against the Yankees in the World Series.

Ironic sidenote, in the 1995 ALDS when Johnson came in against the Yanks, he blew the lead and put the Yanks 3 outs away from the ALCS...However, Jack McDowell, a starter for the Yanks, came in and blew the game.
