shareyou should try to get Madredeus' albums. i presume the songs consisting in the soundtrack are all edited in album, i haven't see the movie yet.
i dont know if u know this but Madredeus are a real and non-fictional band so get their albums which are great :)

I have both the soundtrack (Madredeus-Ainda) and the film. I wouldn't trade or sell them for the world. I've been trying to find the film on DVD but I don't think it was ever (or ever will be) released on DVD...That's too bad.

I didn't manage to find it in Portugal when I was there a month ago (in Fnac it was sold out, probably because of the tourists who follow Lonely Planet's recomendations, like me) so I ordered it from Fnac online when I got back to Estonia and received it in 3 or 4 days (they sent it by DHL). And the soundtrack, as already was mentioned here, is in Madredeus' album "Ainda". You can buy this in Fnac too.

I know for a fact that there are at least two Region 2 DVDs of the film, one Portuguese (saw it in every FNAC shop in Lisbon) and the other Italian (which a friend lent me a while ago). There is also the Region 1 edition, available through Amazon.com.
As for the soundtrack, it's really easy to get (if you really don't want to ask your local superstore on the world music section, order it through Amazon).
So, guess your limbs can rest in peace ;)
