Near the end of the movie, Jack picks up Lana in the buggy and drives away. He is dressed as a woman. In the very next scene, he is riding in the buggy with Ben. It seems like there should be a scene where she gets out of the buggy, or something.

You might be onto something here. It feels like they cut out a vital scene for some reason or another.
shareWe're to assume that they successfully made it out of the town and the next scene is a separate sequence some time later. The filmmakers obviously didn't want to bog the already slow film down with unnecessary scenes.
