I thought that Leprechaun 2 is the best Leprechaun movie of them all.
I found it in my local video store and I loved it!
Then I found the first one and I didn't think it was as good.
A couple years later, my local video store came out with Back 2 the Hood on DVD which was funny.
But I think this is the best of all!

Ten years later, but: I thought this was one of the least violent in the series actually. He only kills 4-5 people, some of them off screen if I remember correctly. I also like the comedic ones more than the serious ones in general so my list is different. I go in this order:

I didn't actually think it was good, same with first, but it was amusing. Ha ha and damn I love Michael McDonald!! I was shocked when I saw him! Heh heh.

I definitely agree. I thought it moved at a better pace than the first film, I thought the Leprechaun had more screen time in this film than the original, it had some unique kills (the lawnmower, the espresso machine, the pot of gold in the stomach), the Leprechaun had some good lines ("Drink what you can, drink what you're able, if you're drinking with me, you'll be under the table"), I liked some of the humor, I liked Sandy Baron, and I liked the score by Jonathan Elias. I don't understand why people don't really talk about this film. I also don't understand how people can hold this film in low regard (have they not seen Leprechaun: Origins?).
shareI agree. This one followed by 3, 1 and 4 were my favourites. I didn't like the Back 2 the Hood movies or the remake with Hornswaggle and I wish they had kept the series like the first three.
