The heroic moment = Shooting/killing someone

It's kinda funny and peculiar those moments in movies where they're basically heralding the death of someone who's just been killed.
This movie does the same, after Alfred shoots the officer dead to protect his family.
The music becomes loudly uplifting and the family finally reunites.

I mean, I'm totally on the side of the movie for it to have happened that way.... But it's still kinda funny that killing someone is being made to look heroic.
It's still homicide.

The triumphant music tells you them that was killed needed killin’.

reply

Legally.....probably not homicide.

Tru - worse still was the Dad murdering the Cop after shooting out his tire.

Yeah, humans nowadays don't have the foggiest idea what's honorable & brave. We're living in the time of men being women and women being men. Nobody has guts!

reply

The music wasn't celebrating the death of the corrupt cop. It was celebrating the family being defended from what the corrupt cop was doing.
