Did you catch that? In one scene, Wendy gives her name as Mrs. Neff, an allusion of course to Double Indemnity.

I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me. I lived a few weeks while she loved me.

good catch. I was wondering what "Mrs. Neff" was all about. It's not backwards for anything.
