One of Rogers' sexiest roles

I think there is the right blend of teasing the audience and giving the audience just enough to keep their interest. I had not yet seen other sexy roles by Rogers and I just wasn't very familiar with her apart from "Someone To Watch Over Me". When I first saw it, I watched it only for the prospect of seeing Rogers in a sex scene. But when I got what I wanted I found myself drawn into an emotional drama involving a crisis of conscience for a hitman who had developed a fondness for his target. How do other people who saw it sum it up? What was it that appealed to you about this film?

When I first seen this film I was shocked at the story and direction the movie took as a whole, I knew I had just seen a "sleeper hit" when compared to other direct to video movies at the time, especially one featuring mobsters. I still have this movie on vhs and can't understand why it has not made it to dvd yet, its a shame really.

It really is an incredible piece of work, and its obscurity is, as with all such hidden treasures, quite disappointing. Made it a blast to discover, all those years ago, but then you wonder why in hell it remains undiscovered. On cursory examination, I suppose one could start by blaming (at least in part) the lousy title, but, as far as I know, the film was never released as KILLER--it was always BULLETPROOF HEART (a MUCH better title in every possible way). It's a crime it hasn't hit DVD yet.
