i don´t understand this boxoffice india websites. because at the times films like chandni, kabhi haan kabhi naa, pardes etc were released, people everywhere were talking about them. i was in southeast asia at the time and i heard and read that these films were smash hits but then the boxoffice india web states otherwise (for several other movies too). just how reliable is this website?
shareHmm - I came back after a long gap to this page. I think people talk of great films and performances but that does not mean that there is mass appeal for the film. The BOI site is quite good and reliable so I believe it. This film would do very well today as the audience tastes have changed.

the movie was probably a hit in those regions but not overall, like for example i read that the latest rani-abi movie is a hit in a certain region [i don't recall the region right now] but overall its a flop.
