Chen Zen - A question about the Dimension dubbed version

When he's dropped off outside Jing-wu for the first time the driver/runner hears his name and is shocked.

"Chen Zen!? From Jing Wu!?"

Li responds;

"Thats right. The best."

This always jarrs me as personally I wouldn't expect a character such as Chen Zen (Let alone Li) to be so arrogant (If thats what it was). Li is a relaxed ego and doesn't need to prove himself as there is nothing to prove. SO I'm assuming this little 'soiree' with the dialogue was something from the Dimension camp.

Anyone got the ACTUAL version with his ACTUAL line as I'd like to know if it was in the script? He MAY be 'the best' at his school or in Beijing but stating it is presumptious and imo out of character for both Chen Zen and Jetus Li-us the maccus.

Oh God. Did you eat all this acid?

If thats the case the dubbing is responsible for the complete opposite being inferred.

He blatantly sounds like he's referring to himself.

Well, I'll tell ya, I watched it dubbed in english AND with subtitles on and more often than not they were completely different.

Sometimes comically so.
