Was Mad Dogg both Josh and Jason's biological father? If so, Why did Gloria (the mother) separate from him and not want to be with him if she had 2 kids by him?

Because Mad Dogg was beating the mess out of her.
Who'd want to stay with an abuser, kids or not? Doesn't matter about the kids.
