it wasn't THAT bad


I remember seeing this on video a few years ago and yea, it's pretty crappy.
but a 2.1/10 ? how insulting. i didnt think it was *that* awful. that's not far from HOBGOBLINS rating! yikes. maybe a 3.9/4.0 .. but 2.1 ?

Yeah, the rating was a little too low. However, let's not call this movie a Turner Classic just yet! I think the only saving grace this film had was that it took place in Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles and showed the "street" life. It's probably way off base from the reality, but I enjoyed the fantasy. What bothered me about this film more than anything was how blatantly contrived the plot was and how off protocal all the police procedure was. C. Thomas Howell has really fallen from grace. It must be really, really difficult to maintain an acting career. It must have been a really bitter pill to swallow when he decided to make this film.
