Pat is a jerk!
In the SNL skits, Pat was a funny, lovable chubby character. Like a big kid.
In the movie however, they made Pat a complete @$$. Really rude and not likeable at all. I can't believe i watched the entire film.
Pat was definitely a self absorbed jerk, but hey, that added to the laughs.

Not only that, but I thought Pat always seemed oblivious to what a jerk he/she was acting like, which added to the humour.
I don't really get why so many people hated this movie. It's not a movie that takes itself seriously and maybe a lot of viewers didn't like that. I dunno, I thought it was funny.
