This movie is good for what it was intended for...a good laugh. watch it, laugh about it, turn it off, don't think about it. My best friend and I turn this movie on whenever we need a good laugh and it's one of those charming films which seem to get funnier with every view :)

I was stunned how unlikeable and annoying Pat was. A dreadful waste of time to watch.

The movie, unlike the SNL skit, probably ran about 72 minutes too long. I say probably 72 because I only sat through about 15 dreadful minutes.

thats the point and thats what makes it funny--it doesnt pretend to be anything other than a total joke

I love this movie. I love the fact that Pat is a self-centered, self-important, entitled personage...whatever the gender may be. It's actually pretty elevated humor. We've all known or worked with or even lived with a Pat at some point in our lives. "People!! You're still talking!!"

I never have understood why so many people hated this movie. Even if you do not know the character from SNL, it is still amusing to watch. Yes, it is not intelligent humor, but anyone who has seen the cover or read the summary on the back should know what to expect. Pat is awesome and I never get tired of watching it. It is one of my favorite movies. "This is about me right now."

A cheap thrill and such a good laugh, what else can you expect from it? Julia Sweeney and Dave Foley were hilarious. Like a few of you have said, it's definitely a good watch when you need a few laughs.

"It's Pat" was a mildly amusing light comedy. Movie studio executives liked it so much they decided to bypass theaters and release it straight to video. If I paid money to see it in a theater I probably would have been disappointed.
