I Had No Idea This Movie Existed!

I was flipping today and stopped when this came on because of Jean Shepherd's voice. I thought: "I've seen A Christmas Story about a thousand times, and I don't remember this scene." I was stunned as it went on. I never knew there had been a sequel, let alone that it was made over 10 years ago. Wow!

I saw the same movie
and was blown away by it
at the same time. True, it
cannot equal 'A Christmas
Story' but I gotta admit,
it was better than a lot of
sequels I'd seen to other
movies! The top-fight scene
was so bad it was good! I
live to discover rarely seen
gems like this...it's wot makes
Cable tee-vee worth paying for!

I just now find out about this movie I had no idea there was a sequel. I'm kinda anxious to see it and see if it's anything like "A Christmas Story."

Yeah, on one of the digital channels for WDIV in DETROIT, this movie came on last night, and i said "What the...? This sounds and looks like a CHRISTMAS STORY, but i've NEVER seen this scene before...."

I was going through the channels & saw the part when the women are throwing china in the theater. might have watched the rest, then later rented it. no bad.

In total, there are 6 movies about Ralphie and his family, though 4 of them were made for TV, 3 before A Christmas Story.

I did not know there was a sequel of A Christmas Story. I wished a channel would show not only A Christmas Story but,all the others as well. A same movis marathon is a no wash, bring the entire series of Ralphie and his family.

I don't think many people know it exists either. I didn't until about a year ago. Still haven't seen it either. I accidentally found out at random.

I'm not sure when I became aware of this film. I think I read about it online. Recently bought the DVD, and watched it. Not bad. I guess compared to A CHRISTMAS STORY it just disappeared into obscurity. It's never shown on TV every year like the first film is. It's not a holiday classic.

It's a forgotten film because it is not a very good film, not in the same universe as "A Christmas Story".
It's a sequel that never should have been made.
