A 6.3 rating in the 90s; an 8.0 by today's standards

I watched this movie around the time it came out on DVD, and I thought it was an okay movie. I just finished watching it again today and it's more than okay. Its a great romantic comedy. Remember the 80s and 90s, Hollywood was putting one great rom-com after another. The standards were pretty high at that time to leave the audience impressed. Today, I can't think of a great rom-com that has been theaters recently. They dont make good movies like this anymore. Its sad.
