"There were any deleted scenes of this film?"
The script and shoot were quite lean, with little wasted effort

That said, in the beginning of Louis' seduction, there is a scene missing from the final cut of Lestate's stomping through Louis' wife's coffin, revealing her remains to underscore the nature of mortality that added nothing to the film

Also missing is a brief cluster of scenes involving Louis' plantation slaves making voodoo dolls of the vampire couple and leaping over a bonfire to drumming

Also: the opening of the film had had a scene in which Malloy interviews San Francisco street people and, literally, runs into Louis, then asks to interview him

Where could one see those scenes? They are not on YouTube.

Although they were shot, they never made it to any later cuts (they merely slowed down the pace)

If you're interested, a very early draft of Anne Rice's script appears online here -- http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/Interview_Vampire.pdf (It includes several never-shot Lestat flashbacks)

Does anybody know if there's a workprint of IWTV in VHS which contain those deleted scenes raunka mentioned, as well as some unused takes featured on the trailers of the film which were not included in the finished film?

BTW, does anyone remember if there was an HBO First Look of IWTV back in 1994? If exists, were those deleted scenes raunka mentioned shown on that special?
