My choice hands down is Lolita Davidovich :) Gere has some great moments in this movie but had a few that were so so. Stone`s acting well... she was ok.I've got a job, a secretary, a mother, two ex-wives and several bartenders that depend upon me

All the actors do a great job in this highly underrated movie. However, I really like Martin Landau's small role, which he performs with perfect sensitivity.

I'm going to go with Sharon Stone. I thought she was really really good. I had never paid attention to the way she acted before :) and I was impressed.

I agree, Stone was the best. Davidovich and Gere seemed uncomfortable in their roles...awkward and maybe trying too hard. Stone was pitch perfect throughout...bitchy at times and forlorn at others. Great acting for sure.
