Possible spoiler: Maybe someone knows the answer to this. She's shown being raped by French soldiers as they attack Vienna. Does she survive or die? I thought I saw blood spurting from her neck as her husband frantically tries to help her. Thanks for any help with this.

She survives. Actually, a few scenes before that scene you can see her alive with the scar.

in all right, you got to give it to Giulletta...

she made it through being raped by soldiers and got her neck cut... talk about a bad day at the office...
