Julie Kavner was fabulous in this movie!!!

I thought she was just great in this movie and had some of the funniest lines.

Julie Kavner was spot-on perfect in this film, and her lines, delivery and facial expressions were the best here. Too bad she was just one of many side characters.

Agreed--but ditto for Nick Nolte-he was wonderful!

Yes! Julie Kavner is always a delight, but this film with such wonderful dialogue & direction I think allowed her to really shine.
