shareThis movie was not as bad as it is directed. yes, movie maybe is a marriage video without a line story; and Repeatition one story in many hindi films!!! i like end of film that Goddess sent dog with letter to groom!
shareI love the movie; it was one of the first 5 Bollywood movies I'd ever seen.
However, I don't recommend it to *all* my friends; it's kinda cheesy, for sure, and the picture/sound quality are pretty poor. But it is what it is; a feel-good movie with romance, family feeling, and silliness. It doesn't try to be anything else!
I've read that it was the first big "Shaadi movie" of its era; full of color and song and dance, with all the wedding festivities, and it was wildly popular in India when it was made. So in a way, it's HAHK's fault that there are so many more of this type of movie!
I call the ending "Deus ex Doggina". My friends and I spend a lot of time laughing at the movie, but enjoy it all the same!
I'm sure you're not the only person who hated it, though! If you're looking for _Kaante_ or _Page 3_, this is *not* the movie for you! It's all about your taste in movies!
I love it too. My whole family has been subjected to it (none of us are Indian or of Indian heritage) and now we have a whole series of family jokes that surround it, like when my kids ask for money, I tell them to give the shoes and take the cash and cheesy stuff like that. Actually I think everyone digs that Joote dedo song. It's *too much*!

I think Salman movie ``Maine Pyar Kiya`` it`s more interesting and more love story than ``Hum Aapke Hain Koun``!!This film make Salman Khan a Bollywood Star and the movie is blockbuster!!!Maine Pyar Kiya this is the films and i like it more than ``Titanic``!!!!!

Normally I love a Madhuri film and I really enjoyed like the first half hour but after that it was just like argh, just wrap things up already! In my opinion (it is just an opinion so please don't bite my head off!) I think this film was really overrated with only a few really nice moments. Also I'll never get over the death of Pooja! That was just mean! And the idea of Nisha and her brother-in-law together just felt way too incestual!
