I'm glad the Coen brothers survived this utter disaster...

and went on to make great films like Fargo(1996) and True Grit(2010)

The best thing in this film, the beautiful music, is the famous Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia from the ballet Spartacus by Aram Katchaturian. One wonders how Carter Burwell found the nerve to take credit for plagiarizing it. There's simply no shame at all in Hollywood!

I don`t think composers are responsible for who is or isn`t "credited". And what`s wrong with the film, anyway? It`s an excellent, breezy, gorgeous looking screwball; easily amongst the bros` better work.

For me, it's up there with their very best. It's a very clever film if you think about it.

This movie certainly isn't for everyone but I sure love it.

Good for you. You hated the movie. We get it. You're much too intellectual to be watching drivel like this.
