How would it have gone if the real Derek Bond stayed with them?

Of course the real version with Kevin is much better, since he ended up really helping the family with some heartwarming moments towards the end. He was a cool, funny, easygoing guy from the 'hood, who related to everyone on a personal level, while Derek was just some uptight guy from Gary's childhood who no longer cared much about him.

But I can't help but think how hilarious it would be to see if he spent the weekend with them, as planned. He was so rigid and uptight, I can imagine him lecturing everybody and not having any fun. When Jason was practicing basketball or seeing his skateboard, I can see him going "This is such an asinyne activity", lol. Not to mention freaking out about Brooke rebelling and her wigger cheating boyfriend, Gary's laid back sense of humor, he and his wife bickering over business, or anything else.

I'm sure all the escalating problems going on with the family, probably would've stayed the same, if not gotten even worse too.
