Why did they stop?

Both singers Kid and Play just started to loose connection (growing up and all). Ironically just saw a show that talked about Kid and stated how he was famous for doing four House Party movies. Sadly the show messed up because neither him nor Play were involved within the 4th version.

They did make a few more House Party movies after this one but they didnt involve Kid N play so its pretty obvious to say this franchise didnt do well without those two in it. But Kid wanted to pursue a career in hollywood beyond these house party movies but unfortuanely he never became as big as he wanted too and Play became a born again Christian, and thats the reason these two went their separate ways but both are still friends till this day.
