So many excuses...

Is it me or does no one take accountability for their actions in this movie? So many excuses. The only one who shows the least bit of responsibility and humility is the father after he spends 7 months in jail.

News flash! When your kid shows up to the game 20 minutes late he is gonna get benched. Too bad its a team game, even though you are a good player you should be treated just like anyone else. Hey and when your kid turns 18...why again should you keep getting welfare for them? Oh and how about, "I aint worried about grades I just want to play" if only you would have been more serious about grades you wouldnt have to play for mineral college in southern missouri. You can see these kids messing around in class not caring. An 18 on the ACT is not that hard. Anyway, thats my two cents. If you people have dreams don't limit yourself with excuses Williams older brother is a classic example of what happens when you think you are better than everyone else and make excuses. When you find yourself in a post office with tight shorts and socks up to your knees, you will realize that life is not fair to anyone.

Kinda missed the point huh? I bet if this film were about two good ol boys from the trailer park striving to make it to the big tractor pull you'd be singing a different tune. A couple of black kids from the ghetto? Must be excuses.

"Let's get out of here before one of those things kills Guy!"

Seems like your bitter, your anger leaves you unable to sympathize with these boys. They were kids, and a product of their environment, and I'm sure they still did a hell of a lot more than you ever did.
